We are delighted to announce that the Rannoch Explorer has full CE marking which indicates that it conforms with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area.

Following approval, Charlie Pitcher said: "Although we'd already tested the Explorer thoroughly, this was an important official approval for Rannoch Adventure to gain. It gives reassurance to anyone using an Explorer that it is indeed a safe boat and won't sink in the event of a capsize. Everything went like clockwork - even my dog, Ula, wanted to be a part of the test!".

The design was submitted to the certification body for approval - the examiner then came and watched as Charlie and Angus tested the boat in the water. Here are images of the capsize test which tell the full story:
