Louise Brown grew up between Hong Kong and South Africa, developing a lifelong passion for the ocean and outdoors. Her offshore experience began with two Atlantic crossings aboard her Swan 47 in the 1990s, before ocean rowing found her - watching rowing boats arrive into English Harbour, Antigua, changed everything. She rowed Roxy's first Atlantic crossing in 2021, later that year joined Tracy Edwards and the Maiden Factor Foundation on its second world tour, then co-skippered a Roxy Atlantic crossing in 2024–25, stepping up to acting skipper on day 13 following an onboard injury. She has also rowed part of two Round Britain expeditions with Roxy, the second as Skipper. Now based in Antigua, Louise coordinates Roxy Expeditions and continues to plan future adventures of her own.
Most looking forward to: Leading the crew across the Atlantic and giving them all a fantastic expericence of a life time.
